Pumkin Patches (that's plural)

We went with Nanny and Paw paw to Two, that's right two, pumpkin patches! These pictures are from dewberry farm. Camille was about to ride this lovely train alone, when she had the brilliant idea that Nanny could climb in with her. Nanny, of course did- and off they went.

Just hangin out.

This is coming out of the corn maze. Nanny may be the only one of us who can keep up with Camille.

On the hay ride to find the perfect pumpkin...
...not be fore the warning of black widow spiders- which the eldest son took to heart :)

this is the one!
of course there was flower picking.
and a lift to the car.
Round Two! (the neighborhood pumpkin patch) They have no idea what there in for when this brood gets there...
Knox casually selects the perfect pumpkin...

...got it- that's sort of the end of his Patch experience. Now he must wait for his sister.
...and she will do EVERYTHING!

If you know us, you know how elusive a good family picture is- impossible that all three would be looking at the camera and smiling- we'll take this one.

Nanny and Paw paw are use to our craziness :)
I love this one!
The twins.

What's that "square peg- round hole" saying?

The pumpkins.
The McWhorter men. I am quite certain that pictures could be found of Smokie and Grandpoppy teasing Kap in much the same way. It's not a bad way to grow up :)

Yep, he's definitely becoming one of them.
toting the pumpkins home.

And just like that, we're outta there (they never knew what hit them :)

clever trick

Because I can not yet figure out how to add music to my blog, I recommend you do what I do. Go first to my sister-n-law's blog "life beyond the pink" (it is always fun to look at so- a perk to my mischief) then when you have looked at hers click on mine from her blog roll and you can look at my blog with my sister-n-law's great music... your welcome! Thanks Ashley for sharing. I really like "our" song choices right now ;)

The Athlete, The Musician, and The..um...um...

Yes, that's right. It's soccer time! This girl is built for competitive sports in every way. I assure you that the way she approaches the ball is the way she approaches life!

Knox gets to use the bow now! You may not know this, but that is a feat that takes about a month or more of practice. I think he looks beautiful with a violin!
... and somehow smaller.

This boy is in desperate need of gender specific toys :)

(This one if for Aunt Ashley. I am sure he learned this stunt from his cousin Cash :)
Love this shirt! (of course, every single time he wears it, he spills something red or purple on it!)
We love this park! Great walking trails that go down by the river. In fact it was near perfect until we noticed the HUGE banana spiders just overhead- then it turned into traumatized children, A discretely petrified mother and a frustrated Kap.
