"Dream Dazzler"

We charged up the old "Dream Dazzler," but it seemed to encourage reckless and worrisome behavior... like this guy, I 'm not sure of the legal term here... driving while...naked? (He was wearing a diaper, I swear)

Of course when Camille got home she was not happy to see her little brother in her "ride." As you can see, a fit ensued. All the while I am wondering if this vehicle is even worth the behavior it seems to encourage. Maybe we should call it "Christine"
Well, then the one sibling STOLE said vehicle from the other- why this is practically biblical... a sign of Armageddon, brother against sister, as it were! She tried to take it off road, but apparently the "Dazzler" has it's limitations and is victim to some of our earthly constraints...like battery power :)
They decided to take to the road together (Obviously this is a spell of the Dazzler)
Even the fair eldest child could not escape the siren song of the Dazzler...
...fair to say we are in over our heads and will have to call in a priest or something :)
...back to reality- brothers playing in the yard. We are pretending it is Fall already and that this type of behavior is not a precursor to heat stroke!

Just a brutal game of one on one between brothers...
I know that you have seen Camille's school pictures- it has been well documented, but you have not seen these two yet :)

Back to school 2010!

This is Truffles (and completely beside the point- but thought you should meet Camille's new beloved pet!)

here we go- The Camille's spent the last Friday of their summer and sweet JD's 1st birthday swimming ALL DAY! Mark helped them a little with some tricks :)

1st morning of Kindergarten! Knox was in bed sick :(
She was sooo ready and sooo excited! (and sooo cute!)

She has a great teacher and was delighted to find out that they were the "rock stars"
Nanny and Paw paw surprised her and picked her up after just flying in from Hawaii... with gifts!

The next day, Knox was finally well enough to go to school, but looking a little pale and skinny (skinnier) from his WEEK long sickness. They were cute together- he actually walked her too her room this day.

Knox loves Eagles (it's his trademark of the moment) and is just big enough for American Eagle gear- so we may have gone a little overboard with the theme :)
Did someone say pose...
The look on their faces shows the dif. in enthusiasm levels between a kindergartner and a big 5th grader.
at the drop off- ready to walk in with her big brother.
Watch out girls... :)

And what, you may ask has little brother been up to...

(plastic surgeons should have this profile on file so that clients can pick a more traditional "chiseled" look... or this more "round" look :)

stand off ;)

My parents are both waiting for a new post... but I'm not posting again until they BOTH leave a comment... that's the kind of daughter I am. And Mom, Dad, you will want to leave a comment, because my next post will be amazing, outstanding, a real humdinger :) I hope to hear from you both soon!

Vacation!

On our way! We went with my parents to the hill country. We stayed with good friends on Canon Lake and had a wonderful time! Oh, and these are the dear that would wander into their front yard- so fun for the kids!

To the lake- these guys are ready!
Max can not get far from the steering wheel... Grandad's left hand man:)
It was beautiful!

...the beauty of a deck boat...
our own little swimming beach
This is amazing... we were driving down a random river road looking in vain for access to the river other than the crowded public area when we drove up beside one of Knox's all time best friends Nolan and his family! Nolans grandmother has a beautiful house on the river and they were visiting her and happened to be walking to the house as we were driving by- it was just such a sweet coincidence!!! we went with them to their house and the kids played while the adults visited.
Knox and Nolan
Isn't this a gorgeous piece of land?
Peyton and Camille

The next day we went into Gruene and of course there were things to be bought!
Grammy and Grandad and the brood
My parents took the kids home and Kap and I stayed a couple of nights at a wonderful bed and breakfast in Wimberly. It was a great get away. These are pictures from a vineyard and Italian restaurant that we went to- just beautiful!!!

We saw this little piece of river on the way home and had to take some pictures.

It was a great trip! Thank you Grammy and Grandad for the trip and the break :)
