The Talent Show!

You couldn't hear Knox's lines, but it went something like this "Freeze Dirt Sack!" and then at the end, with the faulty "gun" "What's wrong with this discombobulated thing!" He and his friend Devan had complete creative control, as you might guess, and did a great job!

Piano Recital 2010

(I have been holding this post for a while because I can't figure out how to cut Knox's recital video down to upload, but I will add that one later. Better late than never...)

A few pic.s from the cabin. We joke that the Cabin is magic... that when we go our kids magically get along and all is peaceful and bright. While it was not "magic" this time (we had to settle several arguments and allergies were bad all the way around) it was, as always, wonderful! We missed you Nanny and are glad you are recovering so well!

berry picking... berry sweet!
My McWhorter men!
Fee Fi Fo Fum... I LOVE this picture!
I don't know what Max will look like, but it seems he will have at least two curls!
The recital bunch...
The beautiful boys...
Noah! He is very good!
No, this is not the best picture of my beautiful daughter but I take so few decent pictures (if you know me, you know this is true) that she has to take one for the team here :)
My little musicians!

If you are not Nanny or Grammy you are free to skip the recital videos :)

Water Day

Preschool Graduation!

Off to Kindergarten! This girl is ready! We have loved watching her grow these three years in preschool! If you ask her, she is probably ready for junior high!

She was very serious about her singing. I love this picture!

Grandad came to watch the action (Grammy too, but sorry mom- no picture)
Paw paw wrangled Max for the duration.
Isn't this beautiful- these girls look good in purple!
...and, of course, there was wrestling!
an aside: I don't know how you wake up your big brother, but may I suggest piling in his bed- all of you.
this little guy is learning to cuddle with his big brother.

Tea and "The Twins"

I am sure he will thank his sister for this someday. It seems, though, that he LOVES the tea set!

...and the crown.
...the bow, I'm afraid, he has no idea about :)
The Twins: If you have twins then you understand what it's like! I know that people think mothers can always tell them apart, but seriously on this day the face painting helped me a ton!
They love to play with each others' hair! (I am pretty sure Max is the one on the left)
I know I should let them have their own personalities and not dress them the same like ths, but they LOVE it! Seriously, when I walk in the room and they are like this I have to call out one of their names and see which one responds!
Mostly they love each other and love being twins although you can see here that Max is not happy about Knox being "over his line!"
At the end of the day... there brothers, there twins! they know what the other one is thinking! Knox knows that Max is eyeing the remote because he needs to pretend it's a phone and make a call... a lot of calls actually.
(that's Knox on top and Max in his lap :)

and of course, the girl!!!!
She really is a shy wall flower- never know what she's thinking or that she is even in the room sometimes!

Cousins!

A cousin's sleepover!

Knox, Noah and A couple of cute Camilles! We stayed up late...
...really late...

I would have had more pictures of the boys, but DSI central was just not as cute.
I love that my kids have cousins there age. It is very important to me! We had a great night!

Ball Tag! (I couldn't write up there for some reason, but enough said anyway)

Knox's school had a 5k and I was smart enough to sign up to be a trail boss! The rest of the family ran. Knox ran by himself and finished 4th out of school age boys (they awarded the top 3)

You better step...

Let's just say they were not so close to a metal as Knox :)
Ah, the sand box... genius!!!
A walk to lunch with friends...

These guys are built and walk the exact same... really funny to watch. I guess one day the boy will be the taller of the two...
Then at lunch... we found a COUSIN! "The Camilles"
Gym attire- that would be yarn in her hair!
Super kids day- Knox totally got knocked down here.

Camille loves to be with the big kids. I was outside and she wanted to go inside by herself for face painting. I was hesitant and she said "Mommy, I got this. I know I can do it"
I was in charge of the autograph wall- I should say Max and Camille and I.

The twins!

Hi Jeanie... :)
