Yes, we squeeze them in there! They quickly fall into their own endeavors, Camille reading
Knox playing his DSI and Max on his "phone"
I know you can't tell, but that's Knox in the grey and Max in stripes.
We had a rainbow- trust me it's there!
This is what Thanksgiving in Texas is like- sipping tea in short sleeves on the back porch.
Maggie and Tatum smiling "naturally"
a keeper...Camille and G.G. (her Great Grandmother)
This little jaunt and the high pitched screaming from the back insured that any deer sticking around to be hunted that evening was either brazen or deaf!
My favorite picture of the day! Cash and Max in pjs
when things settled down camille and Nanny had some reading to do.
The men.
...watch out Ladies...
yes, it's that serious! It was close, but daddy lost :)
Anika teaching a tired Tatum and Camille (who's hair had been attacked by a tree branch) how to cross stitch.
This boy lives in cast off shoes (usually his sisters)

Camille's 6th Birthday
Camille had a Thanksgiving performance on Friday (her party day). Nanny and Paw paw came to watch- it was really sweet. This was followed by TWO thanksgiving feast, one for Camille, one for Knox, a lot for Max and I :)
She chose the name "singing star"
I got "Mr. Cool" out early after his feast simply so I would not have to make a FOURTH trip to the school that day (Did I mention this was her party day and I was getting her room ready at home) It really was a great day!
We are down to one kid looking at the camera!
This was actually the day before- her birthday. For the occasion she got to wear her hair dow- this is a big deal. Grammy came to eat lunch with us!
That night, after square dancing with G.G., we gave her her room... she loved it!
needless to say, it took her quite a while to fall asleep!
(Back to Friday) She was slightly excited waiting for her guests to arrive to her party :) (I ran in Children's place that afternoon for a cute party shirt and scored this whole ensemble!
The crew waiting to attack to buffet line.
The little boys celebrating.
Aunt Angie and Uncle Chris. Aunt Angie LOVES having her picture taken :)
Playing...
and more playing...
and late night playhouse playing (with there own photography)
Lily in the "loft" :) with Baby Blue Robert
and, of course, donuts the next morning in birthday slippers!
It was a great party made possible by grammys and Nannys that I was remiss in documenting- sorry gang- thank you all!

Camille's Room
Ok, this picture was taken originally to show the incredible mess in my daughters room and so makes a perfect, slightly exaggerated "before" picture :). This is her window wall and it needed repair...
...It's possible we got a little carried away!
Bed and back wall before...
and after!!! I am very pleased with the outcome!
the back corner of her room before...
and after.
Looking from the window wall across the room. The bench (love the color- sherwin williams "reflecting pool" at 65% in case your interested) that was my grandmothers hope chest and our coffee table (red) when we first got married, adorned by a cushion my other grandmother made for me.
the birthday girl on said bench
"laughing and dreaming..."
...anxiously awaiting her guests.
and finally- the sleepover- and the room is officially broken in! (more party pictures to come)
